In this section you will find my Payment Terms, When to pay me and How to pay me.
The boring bits about Terms and Conditions – which I hope you will find both open and straight forward – can be found here.
Payment terms
The Payment Terms form part of the contract between us –
- All payments are confirmed in writing as part of any contract between us before you pay any money at all
- All of my work is done on the basis of an Initial Payment followed by either Stage Payments and/or a Final Payment prior to the release of the Finished Article – these are as set out below but may be specially negotiated subject to client’s requirements
- For Individual Research and Telling Their Story I will agree the terms on a one off basis and confirmed in the contract between us
- Any additional charges – eg cost of additional Birth, Marriage or Death certificates payable separately at time of ordering
- Any options on The Finished Article (eg Book Binding) are to be paid separately at time of ordering the option
All prices quoted are in British Pounds and that is the currency that payments should be made in
Payment in full when placing an order is obviously fine as it boosts my cash flow but for peace of mind for all concerned I offer a set of fairly straight forward Stage Payments.
Payable in full with order whether that is one, two or all four family lines.
Introduction Package can be deducted from any future larger order.
Whether you book one or four Family Lines your first payment to get things started is 50% of the total.
Balance payment is requested before full documents are released.

How to pay me
Preferred method of payment is online money transfer – my prices are very competitive, no point in increasing prices to cover bank fees.
Cheques accepted from the UK only I’m afraid as the cost of exchange in British banks is stupidly high, work commences once the cheque has cleared.
Paypal – 3% surcharge.
Details to facilitate payment will be supplied as part of individual contracts.
